On Friday we worked on how to identify a metaphor by creating a t-chart.
Today we will create two t-charts that explore a metaphor from The Catcher in the Rye and a metaphor from The 400 Blows.
Each column on the t-chart should have at least 3 specific things or qualities you’re exploring.
The ideas from the t-charts should be ideas that you think you can incorporate into your Catcher/400 Blows essay in some way.
This work will be checked tomorrow for a homework grade.
