Today we are going to carefully examine two poems by Deborah Digges. Ms. Digges was one of my English professors at Tufts, and she was an incredibly passionate & insightful teacher.
- Using the list above, identify specific examples of each literary term or device on the list.
- Each response should be written in full sentences, should identify the poem by title, should identify the author, & should provide a quote to support the explanation.
- The explanation should be focused on the AUTHOR’S INTENT. In other words, why does the author employ this strategy or device at this point in the poem?
